Join us in creating and performing “Alice’s Wonder,” a musical celebrating disability advocacy. Based on Lewis Carroll’s “Alice in Wonderland,” with original music and script created by participant artists – you!
Join professional artists and musicians for music, movement, drumming, and acting activities. A typical 1 ½-hour workshop starts with vocal and physical warmup exercises that performers use for communication and socialization, and includes theater games, music activities, brainstorming exercises to develop the script and songs, and a drum circle session with a wide range of drums (to create an on-stage percussion ensemble for the show). Everyone is welcome; everyone contributes. |
