ArtMakers Performance Company creates productions centered on participating artists. Each time a group of artists gathers for a new project, their chemistry is the springboard. ArtMakers starts with individuals, then crafts the production around – and adapts to – the talents and special needs of each participating artist. This way, we create authentic, artist-centered projects.

Process + Performance + Community

ArtMakers Career Arts Program engages artists, every day. Daily activities range from acting, dancing and physical performance to singing and voice, music and drumming, and stagecraft. Open to visual arts: painting, textiles, ceramics. Adaptable to sites across the community. Offers consistent, meaningful engagement in community – with dignity, fulfillment, and joy.
